This Father's Day gift your dad your time.
For this Father's day, just take a moment to remember how many hours your father has put in
to teach you to ride your first bicycle. Or how he woke up early to take you to soccer practice
before office. Multitasked between office meetings and your school meetings. He was always
around wasn't he? In spite of his frantic work appointments, he always managed to give you
his time. While all sorts of material goods was demanded from him, all he needs is to spend
some quality time together and see you happy. So this Fathers Day give your old man some of
your time and make his day.
Consider some of these simple yet joyful activities you can do together with you father.
1. Have a family outing Fathers love spending time with their beloved family, cherishing
every moment spent together. Bond over a family picnic or drive down to one of his favorite
campsites that he took you to as a child and revisit your old days. Avoid technological
hindrances like television and cellphones and indulge in pure entertainment like board
games, cards, etc. - the old school way!
2. Sports outing - You can't go wrong with taking your dad out for a sports game - be it
baseball, soccer, or even chess. Choose a sport he loves, ditch your college buddy and take
your dad along instead.
3. Help him with his chores Though this might sound oh-so-boring but cleaning out the attic
together can turn into a walk down the memory lane. You might be lucky to stumble upon
your old photos or your childhood treasures which is sure to bring a smile to your as well as
your father's face.
While these ideas may sound too little but may mean a great deal to your father. Time is
precious and more so if spend with your loved ones. So Fathers Day is around the corner and
we suggest you share your time with your dad and make wonderful memories together.
Lastly, Happy Father's Day to all the hardworking, never complaining loving dads.
